Fritz Bortenlanger

How many times have we heard Fritz say, "This will be my last one?" Don't believe it! A bigger project and more challenging is just about to arrive and Fritz will again amaze us with his ingenuity, craftsmanship and artistry!

Updated April 2008.

Can anyone have too many RV's? If you can build them and finish them like Fritz does , the answer would be "never!" Fritz repertoire includes two RV-8's, an F1 Rocket (sort of an RV), and his latest a luxurious RV-10.

Some of these aircraft now belong to others who fly them into High River just for fun but the Rocket and the RV-10 remain in his hanger. Visit his hanger on the field and see what we mean by an "RV head turner!"

Troy Branch Troy has completed and flies his RV-9 and holds his private pilot license. He plans to get his Commercial and IFR ratings.

Neil Myers Neil Myers is a plans-built homebuilder. He has started two Cosy KR2's working with his two sons. If Neil Myers had stayed in his native South Africa, he would be flying his Cozy and sharing his flights with Pretoria EAA Chapter 322. But that was not to be.

The cost to import the Cozy to Canada could not be rationalized, so the ‘nearly built’ airplane was donated to Chapter 322 and Neil left Africa to pursue his dreams in Western Canada.
